Beauty & Skincare Products For Dealing With Spots | Beauty Review

Friday, 19 December 2014

Hi guys! So I don't know about you, but my skin has been having some major spot breakouts recently, and I thought I would share with you some products that have helped my spots stay at bay.

The first product is the Clean & Clear Deep Cleansing Lotion. This stuff is AMAZING! I talk about this product in my Fashion & Beauty Haul #1 Youtube video, which you can find here or you can visit my Blogger post on it here. You just splosh a little bit of the lotion onto a cotton pad and rub in a circular motion around your face and neck, and the dirt that comes off onto the cotton pad is disgusting! It really gets rid of all of the dirt and grease that clogs up your pores, and this helps prevent build-ups and spots!

This product includes:
  • An oil fighting formula
  • Helps prevent spots
  • Cleanses and tightens pores
  • For sensitive skin
This is a really good product for spots and really helps me keep mine at bay, but all skin types are different, so this may not work for you, but why not give it a go? I bought this item for only £2 at my local supermarket (Tesco), so it's not expensive at all!

The next product is the Body Shop's Tea Tree Pore Minimiser. This product is really good as it does two things at once; it reduces the appearance of your pores and also includes Tea Tree oil so it helps calm your spots down! YAY! This product is a little bit pricier than the other and it's RRP is £7.50, but I bought it for £5 as my Mum was able to get a discount.

This product:
  • Minimises the appearance of pores
  • Matifies for a shine-free finish
  • Leaves skin feeling fresh and pure
  • Ideal base for make-up
  • ORGANIC!
Also, another really cool thing about The Body Shop is that they support the Fair Trade businesses around the world, and this product includes Fair Trade Tea Tree Oil! So it benefits everyone! As I said before, this item is a little bit pricier than the others, but I believe that it really is worth it, and you will also be supporting communities around the world and helping them get fairer trade prices!

This product is from Wilko's (Wilkinsons) and was only 99p! AND IT WASN'T EVEN DISCOUNTED!! This is part of the shops own branded skincare products, and it is  r e a l l y  great! And for 99p, you can't really go wrong!

This is Wilko's Anti Spot Stick and it is a Tea Tree gel that you roll upon your troublesome areas. This definitely a must buy and I always put some on just before bed, or if I see a spot in the morning when I'm getting ready for school, I just dab a bit on, have breakfast and sort my school things out, and when I come to put on some make-up, the redness has completely gone down!

This tiny little bottle is from Superdrug and it is 100% Tea Tree Oil. This stuff is really good, but only if you dilute it down a lot! I wish I bought the Superdrug Tea Tree Blended Oil as it is already diluted so you don't have to worry about it being to strong and damaging your skin even more.

But anyway, this product is really good, and I really love the smell of Tea Tree oil, and it is always handy to have a bottle of Tea Tree oil in the house, and if you add  few drops of the solution to water it makes a great cleanser! The ratio of Oil to Water is about 1:99, or instead of water, you can use other skin friendly carrier oils such as Sweet Almond Oil! It is not recommended that you apply non-diluted Tea Tree oil directly onto skin as it can cause inflammation and damage your skin!

I hope this post has helped you! All of these products are definitely worth buying, especially if you have spotty skin like mine! If any of you have any products that have helped you with your skin, please leave a comment on what they are and how they have helped as other people may have the same problem, or even a solution! SHARE THE LOVE PEOPLE!

Love, K :)
