Harry Potter Studio Tours & Leavesden Backlot Tour! | BFI - Pictures

Friday, 20 February 2015

So... I'VE HAD ONE OF THE BEST DAYS EVER IN A LONG TIME! Not only did I get the chance to go round the Harry Potter Studio Tours (again!) but I also was privileged enough to be able to look round ACTUAL Leavesden Studios at the productions going on!

I am not allowed to say anything, as I had to fill out a confidentiality form for privacy reasons and was not allowed to take any pictures, but what I can tell you is that they are making some amazing films and have some incredible sets being made!

Here are some of the photo's that I took when we were at the Harry Potter Studios, I hope you enjoy!

The Mirror of Erised

This is one of my favorite props! It's the Mirror of Erised (which is Desire spelled backwards!) The inscription at the top of the mirror can only be read backwards, so a mirrors reflection would make you be able to read it! It reads 'I show not your face, but your heart's desire'.

A prop that was in the third Harry Potter film!

The Tri Wizard Cup that was in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Our VIP Passes that gained us all access around Leavesend Studios and the backlots!

Me and my friend Chloe was interviewed for a short documentary on the BFI Film Academy! It was great being able to share our views on a project that has given us so many different and wonderful opportunities!

This is one of my favourite quotes from JK Rowling! It always makes me tear up a little as Harry Potter means so much to me!

We were also lucky enough to be able to meet all of the animal actors that were in the film! This is Hermione's cat, Crookshanks!

As well as being able to met Crookshanks, we got to see a few of the owls that were featured in the film and also Fang, Hagrids dog!

You can see more pictures in my Vlog on Youtube! I will post a link to it on my blog once it's uploaded!

I hope you enjoyed the pictures!

Leo Bancroft | Blissfully Bouncy Volumising Shampoo & Conditioner - Beauty Review

Sunday, 8 February 2015

Hi Guys! So, over the Christmas period everyone loves getting smellies and I have to say I didn't get as many as I usually do, but what I did get was two small tubes of Leo Bancroft's Blissfully Bouncy Volumising Shampoo and Conditioner! The picture shown below was one I found from the internet (as my Mum threw away the tubes that I had, so I couldn't take a picture!) and are of the full size Shampoo and Conditioner.

I thought I would write a review on this product as I thought it was one of the best hair product for making your hair bouncy and full of volume! As I only had small tubes, I was only able to get a few washes out of them, but as some of you may already know, my hair is quite flat and has no life in it whatsoever, and this shampoo and conditioner completely changed that!

From the first use my hair smelt gorgeous and was lifted and had tonnes of volume in it! It made me feel much more confident in my appearance and people also commented on how lovely my hair looked!

Source for Picture

The shampoo and conditioner are usually priced around £2.66 each for a 250ml tube/bottle, so if you want to buy both the shampoo and the conditioner that would be £5.32. Not exactly the cheapest of products, but it is well worth a try!

2 Minutes | A Short Film

Thursday, 5 February 2015

Hi guys! So, if you read my blog posts you would have heard of my friends Shona Kinal and Lucie Potter before. Well, for the past few weeks they have been working on an amazing little short film, and they have been working so hard on it! I really want to share this with you guys and hopefully will be able to put all of the bloopers up from it as well (as there were quite a few, mostly down to my goofyness and weird personality).

I know they would both love to enter this into a film competition, and it would mean a lot if they could have some feedback from you guys! You can find Lucie's Youtube Channel here :) And here is the short film, enjoy!
