Project For Awesome 2015

Friday, 11 December 2015

The 11th and 12th of December may seem like any ordinary days, but those two days marks the events of Project For Awesome! Project For Awesome is an amazing even spanning two days on the 2nd week of December every year, and each year money is raised for two charities chosen by it's founder, Hank and John Green (commonly know as VlogBrothers on Youtube).

This year the two charities are Save The Children and  Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and 20 other charities will also be chosen by the online community by voting on other online creators videos that they have made for the event.

The charity that I will be supporting this year is the charity Mind. Mind is a wonderful charity that helps people in the UK and Wales who are suffering with Mental Health problems. Mental Health is something that I have personally struggled with and has caused devastating effects for many people who live with it.

Here is my video.

It would mean a lot to me if you could vote on this video on the Project For Awesome website as that means that some money will be able to go to this charity!

Sunset Chasers

Tuesday, 8 December 2015

Yesterday, myself and my friends Hannah, Fraiya and Vicky all had a little adventure! We all hopped into Vicky's car and quite literally drove off into the sunset and along the way took some amazing pictures! These pictures were so lovely that I thought I just had to share them with you all! Some of the pictures were taken by myself and some were taken by Hannah, but I cannot remember which ones!

Winter Wonderland 2015! - Pictures

Sunday, 6 December 2015

So yesterday, me and the family went up to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park (again!). We all went around this time last year (you can read the blog post here) and we all had so much fun! It did seem a lot bigger this year, and we also went at night time, as last year we went during the day, so it was really nice to see it all lit up and looking even more Christmas-y!

This Ferris wheel was there last year we all visited! I have never been on it before, but I'm sure it has some amazing views from the top! You should be able to see the whole of Hyde Park and more!

This is one of the entrances to the park! I love how festive it looks and really loved the garlands and fairy lights around it!

Around an area in Winter Wonderland, there was a man carving huge statues from wood! There were a few statues located around this one area and they all looked incredible! They must have taken ages to carve! The man working on them also displayed a few pieces of his work around where he was working himself, which includes the two pictures below of a wizard and of a beautifully carved table!

I hope you've enjoyed this post! Have you been to Winter Wonderland? What was your favourite part?

Simple Micellar Cleansing Water | Beauty Review

Wednesday, 2 December 2015

I love the Simple products so much, and when I saw that they brought out a new product, I just had to try it! Micellar Cleansing Water not only cleanses your skin leaving it purified and clean, but it also removes make-up! BONUS! I normally use this product at night-time. If I have had a long day at work or if I'm going to bed late and don't want the hassle and kerfuffle of using make-up remover and a cleanser/toner, I use this beauty.

I love that I can only use one cotton pad for both jobs, as it effectively takes all of my make-up off and does cleanse my skin very nicely. I have to say, I am very impressed with this product! The only down side of it is that it doesn't smell the best; a smell similar to off apples or if you're going through an orchard in late Autumn and all of the apples are falling off the tree and are on the floor (quite a descriptive smell I know, but that's what it reminds me of).

Once again, this product boasts ingredients of multi-vitamins and is suitable for sensitive skin! With three vitamins, two skin-loving ingredients and no harsh perfumes or colours. WINNER!

This is definitely a brilliant new addition to the Simple range and I will absolutely be buying more of this when it runs out!

What do you think of this product? Have you tried it yet? Let me know what you think in the comments below!

Love, K :)
