Changes In Autumn

Autumn is a time for change. 

Honestly, I've been struggling. I'm not quite sure what with, but I'm struggling. maybe it's life, maybe it's myself or my mind, or maybe it's something else entirely. But Autumn has got me thinking; the leaves change colour, as do I. I change what I do, mainly in bad ways, and end up disliking myself for it, so I fall, as do the leaves. 


As some may see this as a weakness to fall, I disagree, because much like Autumn, the leaves on the tree's grow back stronger, and full of colour, and so will I. We all will.

Many people think that the New Year is the time for change; 'new year, new you', but I believe that you can decide to change anytime you want; whether it takes you a year, a month, a week, a day or even a second. Everyone has to power to change themselves for the better, and how long it takes differs from person to person, but just remember that you decided to change, that's a big step!


 So I guess what I'm trying to get at is that I'm changing; at least I want to. Maybe I'll get a new haircut, go out for a run once or twice a week (or maybe just walk the dog somewhere different), maybe I'll start to meditate and do yoga, maybe I'll start doing things on my own more often, maybe I'll have a better diet and eat better foods. 

We all want to be better, to become better, but sometimes the steps towards better are ones that we are scared of, but I'm here to say that being scared is good because it means you care.


So, here we are in Autumn, the leaves are changing and Winter is slowly falling upon us, and I'm here to say that it's not too late to change, you don't have to wait till the New Year, all the power and magic that you need will always be inside yourself.
